Fishing Trips

If you are looking for a fishing experience to remember, you will find it on a guided fishing trip on the writing paper Oregon rivers.

Groups of up to eight people are taken out  on a custom drift boat where you will experience different methods such as side drifting, drift fishing bait, pulling plugs, drifting jigs and more. Which methods are used will be determined on the type of species you are fishing and the river conditions.

Guided fishing trips are made easy for you with all tackle, bait and gear included, although if you want to bring your own rod and reel, feel free. You can also take advantage of the river lunches made available. Some guide services providers use shuttle services to make your trip as convenient as possible and if you decide to keep your fish a clean and bag service may also be available to you.

Check with the fishing trip operator you choose to see what services are included in the cost.

Guided ocean fishing is also available for those looking for another experience with some fishing charters launching at Cape Kiwanda, Pacific City with a pro Dory Captain on board. Again all items needed are provided for you, unless you have personal equipment you would rather use.

A fishing trip checklist is available on the trip operator’s sites and is very useful, ensuring you get the most out of your fishing trip.

Ask your friends and relatives who have fished and if not they may be able to provide you with some referrals. It is better to ask them about their experiences, the things that you need to do and things that you have to look for in a guide. They may be also to provide you referrals of the guides they have tried and found effective for them. This will be a chance for you to ask if the guide they are referring you to has enough knowledge or is accommodating to clients…
