Oceanside is a small coastal village located in Oregon’s Three Capes Scenic Loop, which consists of Cape Lookout, Cape Meares, and Cape Kiwanda. It is the oldest wildlife refuge in the United States.

Cape Lookout State Park is one of the best campgrounds on the North Oregon coast. It is a popular camping site and has a day-use area that offers a beautiful panorama of the Pacific Ocean. Plus visitors have easy access to the beach.

In the northwest region of Oregon lies the magnificent natural attraction of Cascade Head. The 270-acre tourist spot is a home for wildlife and rare plants alike which flourish on the coast of Oregon.

Lower speed limits may be posted along winding roads, for safety at blind curves, and to help prevent you hitting animals that appear suddenly on the road. This can be very startling! Two of the most commonly seen animals on the roads are elk and deer.

Netarts (pronounced Nee-tarts) is a very small town on Oregon coast Highway 101 in Tillamook County, just south of the slightly larger beach town of Oceanside. Located on the edge of 2500 acres of coastal rain forest.

On the Oregon Coast lies a diverse region called the Siuslaw National Forest. Hiking and camping are popular pastimes in the forest. The Siuslaw is considered one of the few paradises that are left untouched.
