The Tillamook Rodeo is an annual event hosted by the county and is held on the fourth weekend of June. The Rodeo features a Dairy Parade, Western Barbeque, Dance, Buckaroo Breakfast, and a lot more.

Whalen Island Park is an eight-acre overnight campground/RV park located on the Three Capes Scenic Loop. It is just four miles north of Cape Kiwanda, adjacent to the Sand Lake Estuary and Oregon State Park. Whalen Island is one of Oregon’s newest state parks. It has more than a mile of sand beach as well as woodlands, grasslands, saltwater and fresh wetlands, and a tidal marsh.
